Rethinking Economics D.C. hopes to bring the bright and passionate minds of America’s capital city to learn about and engage with the social and economic issues facing our world right now. Whether it be advocating for schools of economic thought outside the neoclassical, critiquing epistemological approaches to teaching in academia, or raising awareness of heterodox monetary policy implementation ideas, we seek to stir dialogue on how to make our economy more conducive to a better society at regional, national and global levels. This entails bringing experts in academia, experts in institutions, and the budding youth into dialogue, to both learn and engage in the theory and empirics of economics.
