The Mulungushi Liaise Economics Society (MuLES) exists to ensure that the economics taught at Mulungushi University is grounded in real understanding and delivered equitably to graduating students and to the wider public. We do this through debates, asking the right questions, awareness-raising, road shows, critical and progressive projects, reading groups, mentorships, leadership development, exposure visits, and interviews and engagement with academics, professionals and relevant authorities. Our aim is to produce outstanding economists, with diversity and inclusion for female participation, and graduates who are prepared for the challenges ahead. We want to remain a uniting force working towards rebuilding a better post-pandemic future, engaging academics, professionals and students to rethink the economy of the past, the present and the future. Our activities include awareness-raising, reading groups, and probing and engaging projects.
