Most of the stories people hear about the economy are narrow, confusing, or just plain wrong. That’s why Rethinking Economics International is launching the New Economy Influencers Collective — a free training and community programme for bold, values-driven creators who want to make economic issues engaging, accessible and human.
Whether you make videos about politics or pop culture, fashion or fairness, climate or community — this programme will help you say more, and say it better.
WHAT THE PROGRAMME OFFERS
- Two immersive residential sessions in a beautiful green space to learn, connect, and create — with all travel, food and accommodation fully covered. A financial honorarium helps you take part
- Three short online sessions: space to reflect, develop ideas, and keep the momentum going
- Access to an online community and peer-to-peer support
- Regular briefings on relevant economic issues
You’ll get access to:
- Strategic communications and narrative skills that actually drive engagement
- Clear, simple breakdowns of key economic concepts
- Insight into how the public currently thinks and talks about “the economy”
- A supportive cohort of likeminded creators
- Help making sense of the impact of your work beyond mere views
- Guidance from Rethinking Economics International
What You’ll Learn
You’ll gain the tools to confidently challenge common economic myths, such as:
“We can’t fund public services because the public purse is empty.”
“We can’t afford climate action.”
“If we tax the rich or big business, they’ll just leave.”
“Public services are crumbling because of immigration.”
You’ll leave with a clear understanding of the real economics behind these narratives — and the communication skills to offer genuine solutions that resonate with your audience.
Don’t take our word for it, read about how the New Economy Influencers Collective changed Dami’s outlook and her work as a creator.
