Rethinking Economics CBS

Rethinking Economics CBS (RE CBS) was established in response to the growing need for structural reform in economics pedagogy. Founded by a group of students in collaboration with a PhD scholar and a faculty member, the initiative seeks to promote a more inclusive, critical and interdisciplinary approach to the study of economics. The group is committed to making economics more accessible and relevant through a range of academic and student-led activities. These include peer-led teaching sessions, thematic discussion series on gender and feminist economics, and critical engagements with contemporary economic issues. By fostering an open and collaborative learning environment, RE CBS aims to encourage diverse perspectives, strengthen analytical thinking, and bridge the gap between economic theory and real-world challenges.
