Rethinking Economics India

In line with the global mandate of Rethinking Economics as a movement for a pluralist, contextual and realistic understanding of the economy and its tenets, Rethinking Economics India aims to facilitate the growth of the movement by mobilising key players in the education and academic ecosystem; to create a safe space for the discussion of new ideas in heterodox economics; to build a trajectory for the teaching and learning of the subject that is indigenous and local; and to work with civil society and corporations in order to further the agenda of demystifying economic thought and discussion in the news and in society.
