Much of the year was dedicated to building a new website and new internal systems to manage data for a new individual membership, launched in May 2026. In the coming period, we will be learning how to support our individual members and rolling out governance reforms that will give individuals a say over the direction of the movement.
To help us track our success in implementing our new strategy, we reported on key progress indicators (KPIs) on a quarterly and annual basis to our trustees. These KPIs include measures of our network’s “health”, engagement with our communications channels, and progress among local groups. For this we use our Group Action Framework (GAF), which we will use to review the previous two years, together with our local groups. The staff team experienced a number of long absences due to ill health and parental leave during the period, which did have an impact on the productivity of the organisation, and our ability to manage internal change and continue to be impactful in our work.
During the past year and in the coming period, we’re continuing to look for more funding to support national and regional organising in Latin America, Africa and Asia. We feel more confident than we did last year at this time.
