Regional Political Economy Teach-In
Event Series

The Regional Political Economy Teach-in Series is a pedagogical space to help our growing international membership to educate themselves and others about the political economy of specific countries and regions, while linking their big historical moments to the contemporary questions, understanding policy shifts and regimes, both region-specific and international  that led them to the current juncture.

Through this ongoing teach-in series, Rethinking Economics International, aims to create an internationalist base for our membership to educate them about the struggles beyond their national boundaries and their shared material base. We hope this serves as a collective learning space that mixes rigor with outrage, all in the spirit of understanding some key socio-political and economic moments of our times.

Events in this series will be online and when possible, hybrid and will be organised with the help of expert scholars and interlocutors and we welcome Rethinking Economics Groups from across the world to collaborate with us in curating this space.

Want to attend these teach-ins? Join us a member and visit the Members’ Hub to for information on upcoming sessions and how to register.

Recordings of previous sessions will be hosted on our YouTube.
